I went to a Rotary gathering with my host mother mid-October. It was four hours away and I met with a few other exchange students there. No I was not required to make a speech at this time.

I last met my counselor at the Rotary gathering in the location further from my home.

We met at the there and he just asked me the routine questions and was as welcoming as always.
